recovery time
I've come to realise why we have just a two day weekend and a 5 day week.
On the grounds I’m going to be either playing sport or drinking over the weekend I need the 5 days in-between to sit at me desk and recuperate.
None of us are as young as we used to be!

"Having a good time"
Not generally one to recite poetry but this one says it all I think!
Yesterday it was my birthday.
I hung another year on the line.
I should be depressed.
My life's a mess.
But I'm having a good time.
I've been loving and loving and loving.
I'm exhausted from loving so well
I should go to bed.
But a voice in my head says,
"ah, what the hell."
